Q: How long/short, should my hair be for waxing?

A: We recommend a hair length of at least 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch or if your hair is coarse it should be about 1/2-inch for the first few waxes. After several waxes, the hair becomes finer and it can be waxed to a shorter length.
You will achieve a smooth skin after your first three waxing treatments due to the fact that hair grows in stages and your hair is never at the same stage.

Our advice: Avoid shaving between waxing appointments, because it will interrupt getting a smooth skin and stimulate the hair growth again.

Q: How often should I get my waxing treatment?

A: We recommend a regular waxing every four weeks. A regular waxing will help the hair to come out more easily and you will experience less hair growth over time.

Our tip: The skin will be less sensitive if waxing is done every 4 weeks.

Q: What should I do before my waxing appointment?


a) Keep the area(s) to be waxed clean.

b) DO NOT take or use certain medications and products that can contain glycolic or salicylic acid, oral roaccutane/ acne products such as Accutane, topical exfoliants used on the area such as Retin-A, Renova, blood-thinning medications, because they make the skin more sensitive and increase the possibility of irritation or other problems.

Q: What should I expect after my first waxing appointment?

A: Except for HAIRLESS SKIN, you can experience a temporary redness or a slight irritation for a day or two. Also, a minor itchiness may be expected after the hair will start growing out.

Q: Will I get ingrown hairs?

A: It’s possible.

The wax will remove the hair and the rots consequently your skin will harden and thicken days after so is important to gently exfoliate. Also, use a mixture of tea tree and lavender oil to prevent irritation.

Our advice: Gently exfoliate the area with a scrub about 2 days after waxing and continue to exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week after.
